Since I was a child, I've always loved all things Jules Verne. For pleasure, in middle school I read the Mysterious Island and in high school, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (the disney movie version of this book was a childhood favorite). I guess, my admiration for steampunk is not unfounded.
Of course, I love Jim Tierney's cover designs of four of Verne's iconic adventures. Let me highlight some of the tricks up Tierney's designs...
